After you view the service, here are a few questions to think about and discuss with your family or small group: 

1. Why was there tension between the Jews and Samaritans in the Gospels, and between the Hellenistic and Hebraic Jews in Acts?  Are these tensions based on religious or racial differences, or both?  How did these tensions impact the spread of the gospel?

2. What similarities, if any, do you see between race relations in the New Testament and in the church today? As we continue to process the racial tensions in our world today, what are you struggling with?

3. In what ways can we begin to respond, to be against racism, and for justice and compassion?  How can we respond with empathy and generosity?  How do you sense God is speaking to you, and to us as a church?
