College Admissions Seminars

With college admissions decisions rolling out, many of you might be wondering how the application process works--and what you can do to prepare for it.
To help answer these and other questions, JT Hayashi is offering a series of three, free seminars here at church.  They'll be full of useful insights, with time for Q&A.  Parents of youth in grades 9-12 are welcome to attend.
Sunday, Jun 5:   The New Admissions Landscape.  We'll look at the most recent data on admissions at a variety of schools, talk about testing and test-optional schools, and discuss what all this means for applicants.
Sunday, Jun 12:   College "Fit," Finding the Right Schools, & Financial Aid.  How do you know where you'll get into college?  And what do you look for in a school to ensure you'll thrive?  And how do you pay for it all?!
Sunday, Jun 26:   Academic Planning, Summer Activities, & Essay Work.  This presentation focuses on all the stuff outside of grades and test scores.  We'll talk about all the fun stuff students can (and should) be doing to help create a successful application profile.
We want to offer a helpful service to our church families and their friends, so please invite those whom you think would be interested! Please sign-up here.
