We would love to have you join us for our worship services this Sunday!  Here are answers to some of the questions you might be asking.

When are your services?

We have two identical worship services at 9AM and 11AM, which include a warm welcome, energetic worship singing, announcements, and a relevant message from one of our pastors.  The services usually last about an hour, or sometimes a little over an hour.

What should I wear?

We have a very casual environment at our church where everyone is welcome just as they are.  Most people dress comfortably - business casual, slacks and shirts, jeans and blouses, shorts and tees when its hot - so wear whatever is comfortable for you.

What about my kids?

Children are welcome and loved at CBC!  At this time, children's classes are offered during the 9AM service only, with care for infants and toddlers and classes for Pre-K/Kindergarten through fifth graders. More detailed info is here; contact our Children’s Ministries Directors, Steph Luna or Tina Lorenz if you have any questions.

Youth class for Junior High and High School students are offered during the 9AM service only. They are also welcome to attend the worship service with their families, and to join the youth group on Friday nights.  More info about the youth group is here; contact our Youth Director, Matt Wada, for additional information.

What will the worship experience be like?

We offer two identical services on Sundays at 9:00am and 11:00am. When you approach the sanctuary, you will be greeted by our Welcome Team, who will guide you and answer any questions you have.

As we continue to adjust to Covid-19, wearing a face mask is optional. Please consider your health and comfort in deciding to wear a mask or not, and please respect those who make choices different from yours.

You are free to take a seat wherever you like. If you prefer more distance from others, you may feel more comfortable in the 11:00am service, which usually has more space.

Services begin with a time of worship through song. Our church music consists of contemporary songs. After two to three songs, you will hear some announcements and reminders.

The preaching pastor will then come up and share a message from the Bible. At CBC, we strive to communicate biblical truths in a manner that is accurate, relevant, and helpful.

The sermon is followed up by another time of response, usually through songs, that provides time and space for people to process and/or worship.

At the end of the service, one of the pastors will return to the stage and give a benediction - this signals the end of our worship service.  Many people stay to talk and fellowship inside or outside on the patio.  Refreshments and coffee are available (for free) on the patio between services at 10:00-11:00 AM.

Where do I park?

Our church is located at 11947 Del Amo Blvd., Cerritos, CA 90703. Please click here for a map and directions.

We have two main parking lots for Sunday use. You can gain access to either right off of Del Amo Blvd. The first lot is through the church driveway marked with our church signage. It has approximately 50 spots including handicapped spots. Drop-offs and pick-ups can be done here as well.

The second lot is about a half-block west of the church. It belongs to the school next door. Should you park in this lot, you will have a one-minute walk to the sanctuary. Please be aware that this second lot will be closed at 1:00pm each Sunday.
