After you view the service, here are a few questions to think about and discuss with your family or small group:

1. Describe a group in which you’ve enjoyed unity, or struggled with disunity. Why is unity important in any diverse group, and especially in the church?

2. Why was the unity of the Roman church such a struggle? What differences do you think threatened the peace between Jews and Gentiles in the Roman church most: background, class, beliefs, tradition, faith?  

3. What are some things that seem to threaten the unity of a diverse church now? How did the metaphor of the olive tree (Romans 11:13-24) help you understand how to bring diverse groups together?  How can you contribute to building peace in the church?
