"Days 2 and 3 are a wrap. Our team has been working with the Nerima staff and volunteers the last two days to prepare for the upcoming VEC (Vacation English Camp).  Attending Sunday service was a real treat, we got the chance to witness an emotional baptism – more on that to follow.  Team CBC received a warm welcome and introduction by the Nerima congregation and Makita Sensei." - Derek Huang

Prayer request: due to the large number of kids attending and very limited space, the team needs to improvise and overcome many logistical challenges.  Pray that God will continue to guide them through adversity.  The team has faith that will be a special week for not just the children, but for everyone involved.  

Please also pray for health; the trip has been physically and mentally demanding – and it will only get tougher from here.  We’re doing our best to stay fresh and ready for whatever comes our way.
