Experiencing Grace, Growing in Love We desire to be a church where you can experience grace from God and others, and grow in love. Grace is God’s unmerited favor, blessing us because of what Jesus has done, not because of what we do. It’s by grace that we grow in love for God and others.
Our Leadership Team Senior Pastor Erik Kakimoto leads our church staff. He attended CBC as a youth, and returned to serve as a pastor in 2010. He is a UCLA alum, and received his Masters of Divinity degree from Talbot Theological Seminary.
Our History CBC began in the early 70's with a Bible study meeting, and our first worship service was on Easter Sunday in 1979. From the beginning, leaders created a warm and welcoming place with a casual grace-filled atmosphere. We value heartfelt worship and discipleship, excellent children's and youth ministries, supportive small groups and friendships.
