After you view the service, here are a few questions to think about and discuss with your family or small group:

1. What are some things the people in Athens (in Acts 17) believed about God and the world? How did Paul speak to their context?  Why do you think it’s important for Paul (and us) to consider the context when sharing the gospel?

2. What things do people worship today that could be considered idols? How have you found Jesus to be better, or different, from any of those idols?  How can that help you in gospeling (i.e., sharing the gospel)?

3. What good gifts have the potential to take the place of God in your life? How can you prevent them from becoming idols that reign over you?
