Two learning opportunities are coming up soon ...  The Bible Miniseries and Finance Class will begin on Sunday, Feb 8.  The Miniseries is in the evening, and the Finance class is in the morning, during 2nd service. 

Finance Class coordinator Jack Lee says:  "I feel privileged to be able to lead the FPU course with Jay Hosoda. We had a great time last year coordinating FPU. Although personal finance is a private subject, I really enjoyed seeing the personal growth from the class members. What really blessed me the most was seeing how some of the couples improved their communications and their relationship through the class."

Some stats from last year's class from 13 responders (individual or couples):

Non-mortgage debt paid during the 9 week FPU course: $39,281 - Average per responder $3,021

Money saved in during the 9 week FPU course: $28,950  - Average per responder $2,226

54% of the responders (7 of 13) report that they are giving substantially more towards charitable giving
