Even as we are apart, God calls us to be the church and to bless others and serve. If you feel that desire to do something, it’s because the Spirit is in you; it’s part of our spiritual DNA. Many of you are already serving in our seniors ministry and with your families, friends, and neighbors. 

Here are a few new opportunities to do good - for young and old, college-age and up.  Please consider how God might use you.  

CBC Safety Team.  We are planning Saturday night in-person events in the church parking lot, and will need volunteers each Saturday to help us maintain safety: giving directions, guiding social distancing, answering questions.  If you are looking forward to meeting in-person and can help, please sign up here.  We will give you more information, answer all your questions, and provide thorough training. 

Support Neighborhood Schools. Children’s Ministries Director and teacher Steph Luna is looking into opportunities for us to serve the community by supporting neighborhood schools, especially Willow Elementary, which is closest to CBC.  We might read online with students, or deliver school supplies to those who have not yet picked them up.  If you have a heart for learning and kids, and would like to be on a list to receive information about opportunities to help K-6 students in need, please sign up here.
