Power!!! That's what we are talking about when we talk about prayer. This is one of the vehicles God uses for us to have a deep relationship and communication with Him. It is also a necessary means to have an effective ministry. Without prayer, our lives and ministries would bear little or no fruit.

Prayer is a way to share with the Lord and also a way to listen to His small still voice for leading, guidance and direction. This is the one weapon Satan fears the most. The enemy knows the power prayer could make and uses all of his schemes to distract us and makes us feel that prayer is boring and is of no use.

But what better way do we have "direct access" to God? Prayer brings life! It brings healing and restoration. It helps us be in tune to the leading of His Holy Spirit for our lives and it brings us power to fight the spiritual battles from the enemy. "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." Ephesians 6:12
