Donna Katagi - Teacher / Spirtual Formation Director

Donna Katagi’s ministry as the Director of Spiritual Formation includes teaching, preaching, and coordinating small groups.  Her desire is to help others know God and grow spiritually, becoming more like Jesus through the transforming power of the Word and the Holy Spirit.

Donna grew up in Los Angeles, attending the LA Holiness Church where she became a Christian in her high school years.  She attended UCLA and helped start the Asian American Christian Fellowship (AACF) there.  After raising two children, a career in elementary education, and many years of lay teaching and mentoring ministries, Donna responded to God’s call to serve Him in full time ministry. She received her M.A. in Religion at Azusa Pacific University School of Theology.

Donna is extremely proud of her two grown children, Tracey and Brandon.   She loves to read, study, learn, quilt, watch TV and movies, and get together with friends.  She also enjoys tending her garden, and passionately hates gophers, aphids, and whiteflies.
